Ten years ago today......my Great Grandmother passed away. I was only 6 at the time but it only took 6 short years for this amazing woman to have a MAJOR impact on my life. This beautiful woman took care of her husband who was a World War II Vetren, college english professor, and rancher who had developed M.S. and slowly lost the mobility of his legs. (He passed away 3 years before I was born sadly) She devoted every waking minute of her life to family and life and just having fun. She was the kindest person I have ever known and the strongest. In the short time I knew her I had never once saw her angry or sad. She always had a smile on her face even when she got sick. This woman taught me to be selfless and put others before myself. She taught me to be who I AM and not who other people wanted me to be. She was and is the most amazing, smart, funny, loving, caring, and beautiful woman I have ever met.
.... I really miss her....
